An interview with Lucia Graves of the Huffington Post, who wrote:
A parody Twitter account mocking Exxon’s response to spill clean-up in Arkansas has been suspended by Twitter.
The account, which creators say was inspired by BP parody account @BPGlobalPR, was formed Tuesday, several days after Exxon’s Pegasus pipeline spewed an estimated 84,000 gallons of heavy crude oil into residential streets in Mayflower, Ark.
The parody Exxon account @ExxonCares, which HuffPost first wrote about Friday, garnered more than 600 followers and attention from Twitter celebrities within days of going live. (ExxonMobil’s official account, @exxonmobil, has more than 34,000 Twitter followers.)

Hi! I still haven’t received my documentary about Occupy, could you please check your records, and send it to me soon. Many thanks, Virginia Hamori Ota 2831 Chaseway Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Good reporting. A little less echo next time, please. I have noticed a complete lack of MSM coverage on this. Is there a reason why the news is zippo on this particular story?
I own the Exxoncares.com domain. Over the past week, someone who said that they were a member of the leadership team of Exxon reached out to me to inquire about my interest in selling the domain to Exxon. The individual made repeated calls to me and also queried my motivation in owning the following domains:-
Exxoncares.com
Exxonmobilcares.com
Shellcares.com
BPcares.com
BPcares.net
BPcares.org
I want to sell the domains but not to the oil giant. I would like the ownership of the domains to go to a responsible educational individual or organization.
I think that this is an important tip for your organization.
